About SPHERE
 SPHERE is a software that helps organize and maintain the video and audio tape libraries in the Production and Broadcasting studios, efficiently. With a friendly graphical user interface, it simplifies the maintenance and management of the tape library and can be customized to specific needs.
The tasks that can be carried out by a full-blown facility are :

Log in tape and program details - name, segments, time-codes, source details etc, through GUI and maintain in a central database.

Issue and receipt of tapes with Barcode option

Audit the tape library stock at any given time.

Generate various reports.

Handle queries from various users - Producers / Managers - on the network and enable them to access the library information

Prepare transmission schedules using the Tape library data

Optional QC Client module. Makes quality control process easy. It allows control of VTR from QC workstation, log in details of programs along with accurate TC readings, and generate QC reports.

An optional browse server can provide the facility to view selected clips / programs from remote workstations on the network.
