About DB-Server

DB-Server, is a TV Broadcast Server made totally with indigenous expertise by DBI.  Both the Hardware and Software are entirely and exclusively developed by DBI keeping the workflow of typical Indian TV Broadcast Companies in view

It is a advanced disk system available for on air playback of both short-form content ( commercials, promos, etc) and long-form content ( programs, films, etc). It takes you from ingesting to on air playback faster, easier and more cost effectively than any other system.

Based on DB Server, DBI has implemented a totally server based TV broadcast facility for ‘Tara-Bangla’ Channel at Kolkatta.  This was a turnkey project executed in a record time. The Automation includes data tape archiving (off-line) using DLT tapes
